It has been asked for, it has been discussed and it has been promised but now its official druid bear and cat forms will be getting a much needed update in the next major content patch 3.2.
Zarhym posted on the wow NA forums (source) confirming that the new skins will be added and even offered a sneak peek at the new bear skins.
Druids, especially the feral ones, will be rejoicing at this cosmetic change. Maybe the next step is to offer customisation so that each druid looks like an individual.

My gaming upbringing was a mixture of NES, SNES and Megadrive before my brother decided to convert to the church of PlayStation.
Nowadays I have my own cash and own all of the major consoles and a top of the range gaming PC. Dropping a grand to upgrade my PC is not a huge decision, it's a requirement! If you can't find me on the PS3 or 360 then I am probably on my PC playing the latest MMO, RTS or FPS.
