Final Fantasy XIII Demo Walkthrough

If you’re like me you’ve probably been trying to get your hands on any RPG fix you can in wait for this epic game and so any new footage/information that comes around is like a mini blessing to you. So here is Motomu Toriyama walking us through a Japanese demo of the game. In it he talks about the combat system a little and also mentions that the English localization is just about complete and ready for input into the game and they will be going through the extra effort to re-sync the characters lip movement to match the English voice acting (how nice of them :D ). Personally I hope that they will leave the Japanese voice acting on the PS3 version at least, so I can switch between them at my leisure as I’ve never been too fond of the English voice acting that accompanied my RPG’s (might as well use that extra space for something, right?) but taking into account Square-Enixs’ track record this probably won’t happen. In the interview following this he does mention it could happen in the future but was dropped due to time constraints and wanting to have a smaller gap between the two release dates for the game (Japanese and European/US). There is also mention of the unveiling of a new character in Japan next month by the name of Sarah, whose name has been mentioned a few times in the earlier footage of the game but has never been seen. So have fun watching and let the waiting continue.

I am one of the founding members who decided to get together and begin this amazing site with like minded people....Uni is an amazing thing!

I live, breathe, eat, sleep and drink GEEK! Been gaming since I was 4 years old and have made it my mission to own every gaming platform since I held my first NES controller. There isn't a genre I don't enjoy, if a game is even remotely good I'll be playing it. In my spare time (when I'm not gaming) I like to feed my anime, Japanese Culture and Gundam model kit addictions.

If we are going to get on there is two things you need to acknowledge - Hideo Kojima is a GOD and Zelda: Ocarina of Time is a master piece!

God truly is a GEEK!
