Splinter Cell: Conviction Co-op Gameplay Walkthrough

spclogoWell we brought you the co-op trailer and by now you all must of figured out we love the Splinter Cell franchise. So to top it all off we thought we would complete the cycle by presenting you with some actual gameplay footage of what looks like it’s shaping up to be a very welcome addition to the series. The tendency for games adding a co-op feature is to lose a lot of the mechanics that make the single player experience such fun. From the looks of the walkthrough it’s nice to see that this isn’t the case, which means that hopefully when February comes around Convictions co-op experience will be able sit next to games like Gears of War. Even the “mark and execute” system which is new to the Splinter Cell franchise has made it’s way over to co-op allowing for some sniper & “spotter” type scenarios.

Overall this appears to be a very solid addition to the existing single player campaign and other multi-player modes that will be available. The God is a Geek team is looking forward to getting our dirty little hands on the game as I’m sure you are too but for now check out the walkthrough narrated by Splinter Cell: Convictions Game Director, Patrick Redding.

I am one of the founding members who decided to get together and begin this amazing site with like minded people....Uni is an amazing thing!

I live, breathe, eat, sleep and drink GEEK! Been gaming since I was 4 years old and have made it my mission to own every gaming platform since I held my first NES controller. There isn't a genre I don't enjoy, if a game is even remotely good I'll be playing it. In my spare time (when I'm not gaming) I like to feed my anime, Japanese Culture and Gundam model kit addictions.

If we are going to get on there is two things you need to acknowledge - Hideo Kojima is a GOD and Zelda: Ocarina of Time is a master piece!

God truly is a GEEK!
