Bethesda Softworks have announced that Fallout: New Vegas is due for a Autumn 2010 release date. The game is being developed by Obsidian Entertainment, a team which is made up of many people who have worked on previous Fallout games. Not much is known about the plot (apart from it being set in post-apocalyptic Vegas) or gameplay mechanics yet but going by trailer (which can be seen below) one can presume it will be quite similar to the massive hit that was Fallout 3.
