No Alan Wake for PC Gamers
Unfortunately for PC gamers the upcoming title developed by Remedy is no more and has been officially dropped for the platform. The original plan was aparently to begin working on the PC version of the title after the Xbox 360 version had been polished to perfection but recently Microsoft released the following statement:-
“Some games are more suited for the intimacy of the PC, and others are best played from the couch in front of a larger TV screen. We ultimately realised that the most compelling way to experience “Alan Wake” was on the Xbox 360 platform, so we focused on making it an Xbox 360 exclusive. Both Microsoft and Remedy have long histories in PC game development. This decision was about matching this specific game to the right platform.”
This is a pretty big blow for PC only gamers as Alan Wake looks to be shaping up to be a very good game. This also means the title is now officially an Xbox 360 exlusive.
