Xbox Live Integration on Windows Phone 7

With Microsoft decision to attack the mobile phone community with thier latest operating system comes the announcement that Windows Phone 7 will come equipped with Xbox Live and Zune functionality. This means you will be able to spy on your friends list 24/7 aswell as allowing you access to Xbox Live games and many of the services synonymous with the service such as comparing gamer scores, spotlight feeds and the ability to view avatars.

The first batch of  Windows 7 enabled phones is said to be in production and will available for purchase holiday 2010 according to Microsoft CEO, Steve Ballmer.

“For the first time ever, Microsoft will bring together Xbox LIVE games and the Zune music and video experience on a mobile phone, exclusively on Windows Phone 7 Series. Partners have already started building phones; customers will be able to purchase the first phones in stores by holiday 2010.”
