Halo Reach Gets An Official Release Date

So the Halo Reach beta has not long finished  and you are probably starting to feel those withdrawal symptoms kick in right about now? Fear not as Bungie have announced that the game will be released worldwide on September 14th, with the exception of the poor Japanese folk who will get it a day later. It seems Bungie were very pleased with the results they got during the beta test and have said:

“It’s exceeded our expectations, our only real perspective going into this was the Halo 3 beta test, which had about 800,000 people. We knew there were a couple million copies of ODST out there, but we really didn’t have any specific information that let us know what the population might be like.”

Over 2.7 million people logged onto the Halo: Reach beta to test out those snazzy new jet packs, click here for the full press release.

I live, breathe, eat, sleep and drink GEEK! Been gaming since I was 4 years old and have made it my mission to own every gaming platform since I held my first NES controller. There isn't a genre I don't enjoy, if a game is even remotely good I'll be playing it. In my spare time (when I'm not gaming) I like to feed my anime, Japanese Culture and Gundam model kit addictions.

If we are going to get on there is two things you need to acknowledge - Hideo Kojima is a GOD and Zelda: Ocarina of Time is a master piece!

God truly is a GEEK!
