E3 2010: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Trailer

Shigsy might not of been able to demo The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword with any of his usual finesse this year but atleast the title itself looks good. The new cel-shaded look works well and was probably the best way to go with the Wii’s limited capabilities. It’s nice to see they haven’t completely reverted back to The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker though, with no swirly puff’s of smoke and cutesy disney style graphics in sight. Seems there has been some additions to links inventory as well in the shape of a whip and controllable homing beetles but the core questing formula is probably still intact. We can only hope that the attempt to put sword and shield into the players hand via nun-chuck and Wii-mote is well implemented and doesn’t back fire.

Skyward sword hits stores 2011.

I am one of the founding members who decided to get together and begin this amazing site with like minded people....Uni is an amazing thing!

I live, breathe, eat, sleep and drink GEEK! Been gaming since I was 4 years old and have made it my mission to own every gaming platform since I held my first NES controller. There isn't a genre I don't enjoy, if a game is even remotely good I'll be playing it. In my spare time (when I'm not gaming) I like to feed my anime, Japanese Culture and Gundam model kit addictions.

If we are going to get on there is two things you need to acknowledge - Hideo Kojima is a GOD and Zelda: Ocarina of Time is a master piece!

God truly is a GEEK!
