Capcom X Tekken might have stolen the limelight at Capcom’s “Street Fighter IV and Beyond” panel but there was another Street Fighter game announced at this years Comic-Con. Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike players rejoice as Yoshinori Ono has revealed that an online edition of the game is in the making. Although dedicated 3rd Strike players have been playing with each other online via GGPO for some time it will be good news to most that a “proper” online capable 3rd Strike is in production (let’s face it GGPO isn’t perfect).
Yoshinori Ono stated that they have just started work on the title and so it won’t be out in the immediate future but if there is something fans would like to see happen in the remake they should make themselves vocal. You heard the man, get vocal folks! In the mean time we’ll keep you up to date with news on the title as we get it.
