Deadly Premonition To Be Released In Europe

by on August 11, 2010

Rising Star Games have today announced that they will be publishing Deadly Premonition in PAL territories this coming Autumn. Developed by Access Games, Deadly Premonition is an open-world survival horror game set in a secluded rural town in North West America called Greenvale. Playing as FBI Special Agent Francis York, gamers are charged with investigating the shocking, ritualistic and brutal murder of a local girl. Nothing out of the ordinary then eh?!

Deadly Premonition has been out in North America and Japan (where it is known as Red Seeds Profile) for a good few months now, polarising opinions of both reviewers and gamers. To call it a “Marmite game” would be a bit of an understatment. Review scores from 2/10 all the way up to 10/10, this is one game you with either love or hate.

Here is what Martin Defries (Managing Director, Rising Star Games) had to say regarding Deadly Premonition:

“Having seen how Deadly Premonition split reviewers’ opinions in America, gamers are itching to get their hands on it to judge it for themselves. We have high hopes for what can only be described as the most distinctive survival horror game that has ever been released – it’s going to be interesting to see how the game is received over here. It’s a cult classic in the making.”

Deadly Premonition is due out in PAL territories this Autumn exclusively for the Xbox 360 and will retail at the budget price of £24.99.
