Rockstar title L.A. Noire delayed

Just as it looked like L.A. Noire – the PlayStation 3 exclusive, 1940′s Detective game – was going to emerge from the shadows, Take-Two has officially stated the game has been delayed until the “first half of calendar 2011″. The game was meant to hit an Autumn release schedule this year, but rumours had previously surfaced that a delay was forthcoming. L.A. Noire has been in production since 2005 and had already been subject to many delays.

We will have to wait a bit longer...

Rockstar Games’ Team Bondi claim to have created a game that avoids the “uncanny valley” problem that can plague many games with ultra-realistic facial models. Eyeball tracking in particular often looks strange in these cases. Strauss Zelnick , Chairman of Take-Two was excited about the title and made it clear that in making a game that includes many “extraordinary” features, when more time is needed he is ready give more, in order to release the best product.
