Gran Turismo 5 Delayed…Again!
It should come as no surprise really, but Sony have today announced that Gran Turismo 5 will not launch in North America on November 2nd. However, the new release date isn’t November 2023 or something silly like that. The game will now hit store shelves sometime during this holiday season.
The European release date has also been moved back. The game will no longer be released on November 3rd, it will now be launched in Europe sometime before Christmas. According to a tweet made by PlayStation Europe, a new official release date should be announced before the end of this month.
In a post on the US Playstation Blog, Sony apologised to Gran Turismo fans for this latest delay and stated “Kazunori Yamauchi and the team at Polyphony Digital want to make certain they are creating the perfect racing experience, and we are confident that this ambitious game will exceed expectations when it launches”.
