SNAAAAKE!!!

Konami have just released a new English language trailer, which shows off how 3D elements have been incorporated into Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater for the Nintendo 3DS system. Of course, you have to imagine the effects in 3D when watching the video, but you get the idea of how some of these scenes would work when using the real technology. It is the same video that has been circling for some time, however it has now been translated into English!

The game is a remake of the PlayStation 2 title of the same name, but there are likely to be extra features added in. Hideo Kojima has already stated he may look at implementing co-operative gameplay – such as that found in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker – in the 3DS title. Details are thin on the ground at the moment, but be sure that we will post more details as soon as they become available.

Check out the trailer below:

Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater is due to be a launch title for the Nintendo 3DS.  The 3DS is released on February 26th in Japan and is due to hit stores in North America and Europe sometime in March 2011.
