Call of Duty: Black Ops Receives Further Patching

Been playing Call of Duty: Black Ops on the PC lately? Of course you have, PC is the place to be playing  First Person Shooters! Those of you that have been enjoying Treyarch’s record breaking game on the PC may or may not have experienced a variety of bugs which have lead to severe performance issues. The first patch which came shortly after launch, addressed some of the issues afflicting gamers whilst this latest patch hopes to fix the issues once and for all.

Updates to Call of Duty: Black Ops – Multiplayer have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Call of Duty: Black Ops – Multiplayer

  • CPU performance improvements
  • Server browser bug fixes and tweaks to populate faster and do full refresh less often
  • Fixed crash when viewing leaderboards if player has more than 99 friends
  • Fix for locked ADS after pressing shift-TAB to bring up Steam overlay
  • Fix for ADS while holding shift as a sniper

Call of Duty: Black Ops (Single player)

  • CPU performance improvements
  • Zombie matchmaking improvements
  • Fix for locked ADS after pressing shift-TAB to bring up Steam overlay
  • Fix for ADS while holding shift as a sniper
