Nintendo Reveals Limited Edition Pokémon Bundle Packs

To celebrate the launch of Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version on the Nintendo DS systems, selected UK retailers will be wirelessly distributing an item known as the Liberty Pass for a limited period after release. This pass will enable players to disover Victini, the mythical Pokémon found only in the Unova region.

In addition to this, UK customers purchasing Pokémon Black Version or Pokémon White Version from GAME can buy either game as part of a bundle with an exclusive Nintendo DSi console. The Pokémon Black Version bundle contains a black DSi printed with images of the Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom, whilst the Pokémon White Version bundle contains (you guessed it) a white DSi printed with the images.

“We know that Pokémon has a loyal fanbase,” says Charlotte Knight, head of category management from GAME, ” and we are delighted to be offering them this exclusive opportunity to get their hands on a limited edition Pokémon-branded Nintendo DSi console”.

If it’s not enough for you to have Reshiram and Zekrom on your DSi, remember that the Liberty Pass will only be available for a short time and cannot be obtained through normal play. Players who want to obtain Victini need to keep their eye on the Nintendo Events page for updates, and to locate their nearest partcipating retailer.

Victini is a rare Pokémon, and the first who is both a fire and a psychic type.

Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version are the first in the fifth generation of Pokémon games, and the first to explore the brand new region of Unova. According to Nintendo, they will also be introducing new methods of communication and several brand new Pokémon.
