On March 4th, Xbox 360 owners in the UK will finally be able to get their hands on Microsoft’s new “transforming d-pad” controller. This new wireless controller will be silver in colour and retail at £44.99. To add to that, it will also come bundled with a play and charge kit.

The controller was originally unveiled back in August 2010 and has been available in North America for a while at the price of $64.99. Apart from the transforming d-pad, the controller also includes a few other tweaks such as face buttons with a grey tone and concaved analog sticks.

The new Xbox 360 controller will also launch in the rest of Europe on March 4th, but an official price has yet to be confirmed.
