Dance Central LogoIn the pantheon of iconic rivalries over the decades, none come any bigger than that shared between Happiness and Kevin Cruise, the “stars” of reality telly talent shows Got To Dance and Britain’s Got Talent, respectively.

Thank Christ then, that they have aligned themselves with fellow television irritant Louis Spence who will be hosting a Spring Dance Off in Covent Garden on the 20th March, with the titanic competitors duking it out “in the East Piazza next to the Fred Perry store” with the help of Xbox 360 Kinect and body popping jig-fest Dance Central. More on this frankly immense event is available below, including a video.

LONDON – 16 March 2011 – Louie Spence is to host a special ‘Spring Dance-off’ competition pitting “Got to Dance’s” Happiness against “Britain’s Got Talent’s” Kevin Cruise on Sunday 20th March in Covent Garden. “Team Happiness” and “Team Kevin Cruise” fans are invited down to Covent Garden’s East Piazza to cheer and dance along with their favourite, as the two stars face-off and dance to Dance Central for Kinect for Xbox 360.

An exclusive behind-the-scenes preview reveals the trials Louie has faced in getting both Happiness and Kevin into fighting shape ahead of their dance-off:

At Covent Garden on 20th March, you’ll not only be able to hang up your winter coat, throw off your jumper and join in the Dance Central Spring Dance-off fun, you could be in the running to win exclusive prizes. Dancers with a spring in their step will have the chance to boogie their way to winning a pair of Kylie Minogue concert and meet and greet tickets, as well as an Xbox 360 console, Kinect sensor and copy of the Dance Central game. A special Kinect “pop-up space” in Covent Garden’s East Piazza will also open the 17-20 March from 11am-7pm, so that dancers of all ages can hone their Dance Central moves.

Don’t miss this chance to dance with Happiness and Kevin Cruise and cheer either on to victory, as well as win great prizes, whilst experiencing the revolutionary controller-free fun from Kinect for Xbox 360.
