Developers Spill The Beans In New Prototype 2 Trailer
After we were slightly blind-sided by the surprising announcement of a sequel to the 2009 open world action game Protoype, Radical Entertainment and Activision have now released another trailer for the title which also features some Q&A time with the development team. Alex Mercer – the hero and protagonist of the first game – is on the loose and gamers will switch sides, to take on the role of military man Sgt. James Heller, as he tries to stop Mercer from destroying New York City (now known as New York Zone).
Will the world be able to stop the marauding powerhouse that is Alex Mercer? Only time will tell, but with a whole new array of obstacles in his way, there is sure to be an unbelievable struggle for dominance.
The trailer gives fans some inside information on the next instalment of the saga, and also offers a first look at the storyline of the new game. Check it out below:
Prototype 2 is due out in 2012 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
