Red Dead Redemption Pre-Order DLC Finally Available To All
As we reported last month, when it was announced that all of the L.A. Noire pre-order exclusive bonuses would eventually be made available to all for purchase, Rockstar Games also confirmed that the pre-order DLC that was made available for Red Dead Redemption at launch would receive the same treatment. Well now, almost a full year after the release of Red Dead at retail, the team can joyously announce that the exclusive add-ons will be available to purchase on April 12th. They will release the content as three separate packs, so gamers will be able to pick and choose what they go for.
The three packs are:
The Deadly Assassin Outfit – this outfit causes your Dead Eye meter to regenerate at twice the speed.
The Golden Guns Weapon Pack – give players more Fame points for each kill in the single player campaign.
The War Horse – this new steed is the strongest, fastest horse in the game.
Rockstar issued the following statement on their official website: “Apologies to everyone for having to wait so long to get these available as DLC as there were some unanticipated technical delays. For those of you inquiring about the expected availability of the L.A. Noire pre-order bonuses as DLC after game release, those should become available as DLC much, much sooner.” That is good news to Rockstar fans, as there is a variety of different pre-order options to choose from for L.A. Noire, with each of them sounding good in their own way.
The three DLC packs will be made available for download on 12th April, for PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE. they will each cost $0.99 / 80 Microsoft Points.
