Get Another Glimpse At Mass Effect 3 With More New Screens

by on May 4, 2011

Coming hot on the heels of the GameInformer exclusive feature included a batch of screenshots for mass Effect 3, Bioware have made some of those same images and several others available for viewing online. In the batch of eight new screenshots from the upcoming third entry in the RPG trilogy we get a better look at some combat situations in the game and the returning characters. As in the last set of images, we get a good view of the Cerberus Agents who appear to have turned against Shepherd in the time since Mass Effect 2. But on top of that, we see two popular characters who featured in both of the previous games in the series.

First, there is Liara T’Soni, the Asari researcher and archaeologist who joined Shepherd’s team in the first game and also featured in the sequel – taking on a big role in the DLC episode “Lair of the Shadow Broker”. She is shown fighting alongside the Commander once again, perhaps suggesting she will return as a squad member in the third game. Also shown in the images is Admiral Anderson, who was largely a political figure in the last two games, but is now shown in combat attire – giving the impression he has a much more pivotal role to play this time around.
