One thing that’s important when you’re creating an entirely new world is that the people, and their enemies, that populate that world fit in with what’s around them. That can be a very difficult process in some cases. inXile Entertainment and Bethesda have today released a new developer diary which details just some of the massive process involved in bringing the world of Hunted: The Demon’s Forge to life.

Hunted: The Demon’s Forge follows the story of two mercenaries, E’lara & Caddoc, as they scour the world in search of a mysterious artifact which Caddoc saw in a vision. The game will feature split-screen co-operative multiplayer and a massive open world. Hunted: The Demon’s Forge is powered by Epic’s Unreal 3 Engine from.

Hunted: The Demon’s Forge follows the warrior Caddoc and the huntress E’lara as they fight their way through besieged towns, sprawling dungeons, and ancient ruins as they become entwined in a tale of corruption and deceit. The two must combine Caddoc’s brute strength with E’lara’s deadly accuracy to vanquish a horde of foul creatures and untangle the mystery of the Demon’s Forge, gaining access to unstoppable magic and an arsenal of weaponry hidden by ancient puzzles along the way.

Hunted is slated for release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in North America on May 31, 2011 and across Europe on June 3, 2011.
