Forza Motorsport 4 To Feature Head Tracking Via Kinect

by on June 1, 2011

Turn 10 Studios featured in the latest “Major’s Minute” video blog from Xbox 360 insider Major Nelson, as they explained a new feature that is being added into their latest racing simulation title, Forza Motorsport 4. The game is set to include Kinect support for driving and browsing cars, but the developers have just shown off a feature which incorporates full head tracking whilst driving your cars. This will allow users to look around inside their car as they race, which is intended to play on the fact that a lot of gamers have been observed to move their head along with the action when taking part in a racing game.

See the video below for a clip of the section in question, showing the Kinect support in action:

Forza Motorsport 4 is due for release in October 2011, exclusively for Xbox 360.
