New Tracks Announced For Ubisoft Guitar Game Rocksmith

by on June 2, 2011

Via their official Facebook page for the game, Ubisoft have announced a set of songs that will feature in the forthcoming Guitar game, Rocksmith. The game promises to help teach gamers how to play real guitars, as opposed to the 5-button imitations that were made popular by the Guitar Hero series. Through the use of a 1/4″ to USB Guitar cable, users will be able to plug their real electric guitar into their console or PC, so that when playing the game, the machine will be able to measure your performance and adjust the teaching accordingly. This set of songs confirmed for the game is promised to be the first of several upcoming announcements regarding musical artists that will be featured in the final release.

The newly confirmed artists and songs are as follows:

• Best Coast – When I’m With You
• Blur – Song 2

• The Boxer Rebellion – Step Out Of The Car
