Ms. Splosion Man Is Cheap – Pricing Announced

Twisted Pixel are preparing to unleash their latest creation on the world, as the arcade platforming mayhem of Ms. Splosion Man – the sequel to ‘Splosion Man – is due to hit Xbox LIVE Arcade on July 13th. Well in anticipation of that date, the development team have announced the price at which the game will go on sale, and that will be the reasonable amount of 800 Microsoft Points. The second game in the series aims to build upon the successes of the first title, and will feature larger stages with massively more challenging bosses, improved online features, a new Ghost Replay system and also boasts a fifty-level single player campaign alongside a completely separate fifty-level multiplayer campaign.

Minutes after Big Science Labs announced the capture of rogue experiment Splosion Man, all communications cut out. Unconfirmed reports of a “Pink Terror” led many to speculate on the existence of a “Ms. Splosion Man” – a second catastrophic experiment set to splode her revenge out from the laboratories of Big Science and into the world. Humanity’s last brush with the apocalypse occurred almost one year ago, during the Great Meatening, a day remembered less for the terrible loss of many a scientist than for the vast flooding of delicious meat that rained down from the sky.  Here now again, all of humanity rests on the razor’s edge – Big Science encourages all citizens to resist the sizzle of fresh tenderloin and mass destruction on July 13th, no matter the phenomenal value.

The team here at Godisageek were all big fans of ‘Splosion Man, and have high hopes for his successor. Not long to wait now, as the menace will soon be set free to run riot over Xbox LIVE.

Featuring 50 all new single player levels, a 50 level multiplayer campaign and a bunch of surprises to come, Ms. Splosion Man debuts this summer on Xbox LIVE Arcade, July 13th, 2011.
