UK Charts – Zumba Fitness Makes It Five Consecutive Weeks At The Top

by on July 18, 2011

That’s five consecutive weeks for Zumba now at the top of the UK Charts. Five! Alright, we’re in the quiet period now, but that is still very impressive for a game that rather came from nowhere!

505 Games’ ‘Zumba Fitness’ (-24%) celebrates 5 consecutive weeks at No1, giving it a total of 8 weeks at the top since the launch of the hugely successful Wii version. ‘Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 2’ fails to cast its spell on the charts, debuting at No7. It’s by far the lowest ever sales in a launch week for a Harry Potter game, despite charting higher than ‘Part 1’ which came in at No20 in November 2010. It’s a happier story for Activision Blizzard’s film tie-in ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’ (Xbox 360/PS3) which climbs one place to No2 with only a 6% drop in sales.
