Batman: Arkham City Will Support 3D, Old and New

by on August 16, 2011

There seems to be a slight trend here as Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have today announced that everyone’s favourite caped crusader will be available in Stereoscopic 3D. This comes straight off the back of news that Epic Games are to support the technology in Gears of War 3, albeit less surprisingly though, due to Batman: Arkham Asylum being one of the best examples of 3D available to date.

This time both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will be joining the action enabling you to chill out on your sofa and play this game the way it was meant to be played, using a compatible TV and active shutter glasses. Those who feel like being a bit retro, or feel that modern 3D technology is a bit on the expensive side will be pleased to know that the game will also support Anaglyphic 3D, enabling you to don your red and blue glasses and look as groovy as possible.

In addition, Batman: Arkham City supports Nvidia 3D Vision Technology for ardent PC veterans to also experience the stereoscopic 3D action in unison with NVIDIA’s GeForce family chipset.

So a little something for everyone!
