New Gamescom Trailer for The Adventures of Tintin: The Game

by on August 19, 2011

Ubisoft have worked with Peter Jackson before on the game of one of his film releases. The game of King Kong was an early current-gen title, which was critically well-received, but performed poorly at retail. Well now, the two parties are teaming up again for the release of the game for the new TinTin film. Lets just hope for better results this time around. At Gamescom, the development team revealed a new trailer for us to feast our eyes on.

In The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn The Game, play as Tintin, the intrepid reporter and hero of the action-packed movie The Adventures of Tintin directed by Steven Spielberg. Developed in close collaboration with the filmmaking team, the video game offers an authentic immersion into the movie’s enchanting environments and characters.

Also oof interest to fans of the games of Michel Ancel – in particular Beyond Good & Evil – the music for this game is composed by long-time Ubisoft music maestro, Christophe Heral, who was also responsible for the beautiful score seen in BG&E. That certainly get us more excited, as we are all big fans of the under-appreciated classic, which deservedly had its downloadable re-release recently.

Don’t delay, check out the new TinTin trailer below:

The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn The Game will be released in October 2011, on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, DS, 3DS and Windows PC.
