First Pes 2012 Demo Will Not Make It to Xbox 360
The first of two PES 2012 demo’s will not be released on the Xbox 360. The 360 version of the demo failed to launch alongside its PC and PS3 counterparts on August 24th with a delay announced at the time. Now two weeks later PES European team leader, Jon Murphy has confirmed via twitter that the first demo will not be released at all on Xbox 360:
Sorry to confirm that due to issues on both sides we can’t release the 1st PES2012 demo for 360. We’ve tried hard but have to give up.
We – Konami, the PES team and myself – are all really, really sorry.
It’s not all doom and gloom though. The second, more complete demo is not too far away and it seems like an Xbox 360 version is still planned:
On a brighter note we’ll announce the next demo shortly and release is just around the corner. Hope you still give it a try.
The next PES 2012 demo will reflect gameplay from the final product or at least something very close to it and will feature a number of different teams including; Tottenham Hotspur, FC Bayern Munich, FC Internazionale Milano, Rangers FC, Club America and Sport Club Internacional..
PES 2012 is due out on October 14th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The PlayStation 2 and PSP versions will be released on October 28th, with the Nintendo Wii version shipping on November 4th.
