PlayStation Vita Battery to Last 3-5 Hours, Tech Specs Revealed

Ladies and Gentle-geeks, Sony have confirmed the Battery Life of the imminent PlayStation Vita!

Like its close rival the Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita owners will have 3-5 hours of game time. The fun doesn’t stop there though:

  • If you are planning on watching Videos, you have 5 hours to do so.
  • Want to use your hi-tech gaming equipment as a musical playback device? How does 9 hours suit your listening needs?
The charge time (from empty) should take around the 2 hours and 40 minutes mark. This is via AC adaptor.

I have been gaming since Christmas day 1989ish, when my siblings and I were given a NES. It had Super Mario Bros and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with it. Although I never completed TMNT, I did get past the underwater level by the dam!

I will happily give any genre a try, unless its something scary. I believe Luigi's Mansion was the closet thing to a horror game that I could stomach. I own a PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and a Nintendo DSi (Serious thought is going into the potential purchase of a 3DS).

When I am not gaming I am usually shouting at Arsenal to take a shot! I can also be found playing football, squash, ultimate frisbee, cooking, or passing the time by making noise. I can do a pretty convincing Jam Jar Lid! ^^
