by on October 7, 2011

Armchair Football managers rejoice – Sports Interactive and SEGA have now released the official demo for Football Manager 2012, for PC and Mac – and you can download it exclusively via Steam. The demo will allow gamers to play through the first half of the 2011/2012 football season, and any save games made in the demo will be fully compatible with the full version of the game – so you can continue your fledgling managerial career in the retail copy. The full version will of course allow players to run multiple world leagues at once, and there will also be a whole host of new features and updates since last year’s installment.

Languages that are supporte in the demo are; English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Danish, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Czech and Polish.

National leagues that players will be able to Quickstart and play in the demo are; England, Scotland, France, Spain, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Australia.

Good news for users who might not have the most up-to-date machines, Sports Interactive have announced that the game is optimised in a way that if your computer could run last year’s version, it will still be able to run Football Manager 2012 – as the machine specifications haven’t changed at all. So put on your sheepskin jacket and get a bumper pack of chewing gum, the world of virtual football management is about to get even more engrossing.

Football Manager 2012 is due to be released on October 21st on PC and Mac.
