Geek in the Tube LogoWelcome to episode 4 of our monthly round up of videogame related videos on the web. After last month’s retro education in the form of videogame commercials from back in the day, we are going modern and HD again for you this month.

This episode features an awesome LEGO Gears of War tribute, the ultimate Battlefield 3 setup, some Grand Theft Auto 4 funnies and a hilarious FIFA 12 tribute to the one and only Emile Heskey.

Kicking things off this week, we have this awesome Gears of War 3 LEGO clip, Bricks of War. Made by Kooberz Studios, this stop-motion clip, complete with voice-overs, is a real treat for fans of the series. The sounds and music are lifted straight from the Gears of War franchise, and it is almost like watching someone play with some LEGO-tinted glasses on. Great stuff.

Next up, we have the most insane gaming rig known to man, courtesy of The Gadget Show. They set out to build the ultimate Battlefield 3 gaming setup, and using a mammoth amount of technology that we struggle to understand, they seem to have managed it. While it’s not perfect to the trained eye, the Battlefield 3 experience looks like something that should be taken around the country, so we can have a go. Complete with paintball guns so when you get shot, you get shot.

Next up, we have a clip of some truly hilarious funny moments from Grand Theft Auto IV. With Grand Theft Auto 5 having been announced just recently, we thought it was a good time to have a look back at some of the funnies from IV, courtesy of Machinima. Where would you like to see Grand Theft Auto V set? We’re hoping for London, but word on the street is that it’s going to be San Andreas again. While you are deliberating, check out the clip.

Lastly, we have my personal favourite, a tongue-in-cheek tribute to the one and only Emile Heskey using FIFA 12. This video has encapsulated the career of everyone’s favourite lumbering oaf magically, thanks to FIFA 12’s new Impact Engine. And with that, we are off. Have a fantastic weekend, everyone!
