The title was set for a Winter 2011 release, but it slipped back a few weeks and will now be hitting Xbox LIVE Arcade and the PlayStation Network on January 11th, 2012 for 800 Microsoft points or €9.99 / £7.99.

Along with the announcement of the release date, the company have also released a batch of new screenshots which show us the disturbing enemies that you will encounter as you play through the title. For more information and details on the backstory, and why the protagonists are fighting for survival, check out our past coverage here.

There is still no news on when the PC version will be available, but it was always intended to follow at a later date than the console launch – so those without a console will have to remain patient.
