Lollipop Chainsaw is certainly an intriguing looking game, which is something we’ve come to expect from Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacture. The combination of zombies, cheerleaders, and a chainsaw has already sold me on the title, but for those who are still on the fence Warner Brothers have today released a new trailer featuring one of the game’s antagonists.
Swan is San Romero High’s resident Goth Geek, and he doesn’t particularly like people or society seeing as they’ve rejected and teased him. So in order to get his revenge he decides to take over the world by raising an army of zombies to do his bidding. Seems a bit extreme if you ask me, but then again this is Lollipop Chainsaw and I don’t think this is a game that does subtlety all that well.
You can check out a trailer introducing Swan, but be aware of the strong language and violence against the zombie horde.
Lollipop Chainsaw is due for release on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 in 2012.
