FIFA 12 has yet again started the week as the best selling game in the UK, securing the number one spot for the sixth consecutive week with a slight increase in sales despite a challenge from Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which jumped two places to clinch second place with an eight percent increase in sales.

Thanks to Modern Warfare 3′s sales increase, Skyrim and Just Dance 3 were both pushed down a place while Battlefield 3 remained rooted to the fifth spot. 3DS title Resident Evil: Revelations was the only new entry into the top 20 this week, securing sixth place, which made the title the seventh biggest launch on the 3DS. Both Zumba fitness titles from 505 Games remain in the top ten, while Assassins Creed: Revelations edged its way into ninth position.

Other movers and shakers were Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012 which jumped 12 places to 17th, while Sonic Generations jumped nine places to end up 15th.
