Pac-Man 3D Party is Now Available

Pac-Man 3D Party is Now AvailablePac-Man is having a party, and we’re all invited. While the idea of being chased by ghosts who want to play hide and seek, eating strange luminous capsules and listening to Pac’s war-stories about ‘getting too old for this’ and ‘I can’t eat as much as I used to’ doesn’t particularly appeal to me, it’s fair to say a certain demographic may find this event pretty rad.

Today sees the launch of Pac-Man Party 3D on Nintendo 3DS from Namco Bandai, and to celebrate the very special occasion, Pac is doing more than just giving out balloons.

The game will feature a variety of mini-games and challenges which can be played with up to three friends. Of course, it wouldn’t be a party without a bit of friendly competition, and so players will find themselves taking part in various time-based challenges which involve rolling a big ball of spaghetti and doing a bit of racing, apparently.

With a focus on skill and reflexes as much as fun, players will use all aspects of the 3DS, including the motion and gyro sensors, 3D screen and touch screen controls.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a party without presents, and as a treat to fans, Namco Bandai have slipped in arcade versions of Galaga, Dig-Dug, and, of course, Pac-Man.

So if you like your parties to be a bit on the quirky side, Pac-Man Party 3D may just be your slice of cake. Pac-Man Party 3D is now available on Nintendo 3DS from participating European retailers.
