Word Trick Now Available on the iTunes App Store

Word TrickOutplay Entertainment, a new social and mobile game developer hailing from Dundee, have announced that their popular Facebook title Word Trick is now available to download free from the iTunes App Store.

Word Trick is a new take on the crossword tile board game (think Scrabble), and features Trick Tiles which allow players to score big if they create a word that lines up using three or more of the Trick Tiles.

Doug Hare, founder and CEO of Outplay Entertainment Ltd, had this to say about the title:

“With Word Trick, we wanted to enhance the traditional crossword gameplay experience by providing a socially fun, yet challenging, evolution in the genre.”

The game’s Trick Tile feature creates a completely unique gameplay challenge, and players are no longer restricted to multiplier score squares on the board — they can score big anywhere.”

As well as supporting multiplayer games for up to four people, Word Trick also gives you the ability to play 21(!) games at once. I struggle when I have four seperate Internet tabs open, so I dread to think how I’d be able to cope with 21 parallel games of Word Trick.

You can download Word Trick for free from the iTunes App Store, and you can check out our review of the title in this week’s Mobile Monday, which also features reviews of several other iOS games.
