Ghostlight Announce Duo Of Ace New Shin Megami Tensei JRPGS For HandheldsIn October of this year, Shin Megami Tensei will be twenty years old. Twenty, I tell you!

Anyway, I digress – as Ghostlight have just announced a pair of forthcoming crackers for Nintendo handhelds. First up is the much-anticipated Devil Survivor Overclocked for the 3DS – a spanking 3D remake of the original SMG: Devil Survivor game, which was extremely well-regarded on the original DS. They are also bringing out a PAL version of the sequel for the Nintendo DS/DSi – Devil Survivor II.

Devil Survivor is already a banging game, the 2009 RPG featuring a cracking plot about demonic occupation of Tokyo, some well-rounded characters and branching endings depending on decisions you made during the game. The 3DS version sounds awesome, adding stereoscoping trickery, remastered graphics, full voice acting for the whole shebang, and an exclusive extra chapter.

Devil Survivor II has never been released in the West, so gives us PAL-land bods a chance to experience more addictive demon-related RPG shenanigans. Frankly, I cannot wait. God bless you, Ghostlight – for your commitment to bringing these J-delights to our handhelds.

Enjoy the galleries below, images from both games are present.
