In Lollipop Chainsaw, Stubborn Bloodstains Won’t Stand a Chance with Zom Be-Gone

In Lollipop Chainsaw, Stubborn Bloodstains Won't Stand a Chance with Zom Be-GoneAs if the all of the details and trailers so far released by Grasshopper Manufacture for their upcoming High School Zombie hack and slash – Lollipop Chainsaw – haven’t been crazy enough, the latest trailer for the title eschews game footage entirely.

Instead, the video is a mock-commercial for Zom Be-Gone – the latest in detergent technology from Lollipop Chainsaw. After Juliet has spent all day mowing through hordes of Zombies, her Cheerleader outfit is prone to becoming a bit soiled, and looking worse for wear. That is where Zom Be-Gone comes in, and her outfit quickly goes from “caked on spleen to totally clean!”

As we have previously covered, Lollipop Chainsaw looks like an absolutely insane blend of Dead Rising, Bayonetta and Buffy The Vampire Slayer. With chainsaw in hand, Juliet Starling is the last hope against an army of undead rock Lords. The game looks like it will sit comfortably in the company of the stable of the strange – other Suda 51 games including Killer 7, No More Heroes and Shadows of the Damned – none of which could be accused of being “average” or “boring”. Lets hope this game finds the audience that many of the past examples stated failed to gain.

Check out just how effective Zom Be-Gone is in the video below:

Lollipop Chainsaw is due for release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on June 15th 2012.
