Magic: The Gathering Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 to Launch This Summer
Magic: The Gathering’s 2013 lineup has been announced, with Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 coming to iPad, XBLA, Steam and SEN.
Magic: The Gathering has seen over 2 million downloads since its first digital outing back in June 2009, so the news of more content will surely please fans.
Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 will come stuffed with 10 new decks, optional manual mana tapping and a new-to-digital multiplayer game mode called Planechase. Using oversized cards based on various Planes within the Magic Multiverse to modify the rules, Planechase will add a new challenge for existing fans.
A new tutorial system has also been introduced, this will hopefully help make the game more approachable to new players.
Magic: The Gathering Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 will be available on Xbox LIVE Arcade, SEN, Steam and iPad this summer.
