First Look – Velocity

by on April 9, 2012

Bank holiday or not, First Look is here to give you a new game to cast your eyes upon in the form of PlayStation Minis title, Velocity.

Despite being only the second game from developer Futurlab Games, Velocity is shaping up to be a rather enjoyable shoot ’em up experience, with some interesting takes on a genre that has been around a long time.

In this First Look, Martin and I give you the rundown on the early stages of the game, but there’s plenty more hidden away, you’ll just have to stay tuned for our review of the title, coming soon. This video is captured from the PlayStation 3, but the game also runs on PSP and we can tell you, it runs rather well on the Vita too.

Don’t forget, you can find all of GodisaGeek TV‘s featured video content on iTunes and Feedburner, so don’t forget to subscribe!

Velocity is due out 1st May (US) and 2nd May (EU). It is part of Sony’s PS Plus subscription service, so will be free to subscribers for two weeks, and then available to everyone else on 16th May, priced at £3.99, $4.99 and 4.99 EUR
