E3 2012: Sony Unveil PlayStation Vita Exclusive Assassin's Creed III: LiberationI love the Assassin’s Creed series of games, and I don’t care who knows it, I also absolutely adore my PlayStation Vita, it’s with me whenever I’m out of the house, so when the announcement came that I would soon be able to combine these two I was naturally excited.

Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation takes place during the same frame of time as Assassin’s Creed III and has the player control the first female assassin in the franchises history; Aveline de Grandpre.

The game is a fully fledged Assassin’s Creed experience, only shrunk down and displayed exclusively on the PlayStation Vita. Announced during the Sony conference also was that fact that players who purchase both Assassin’s Creed III and Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation will be able to benefit from exclusive goods such as new weapons, new armours and even a new multiplayer character for Assassin’s Creed III (here’s hoping for Aveline herself).

Below is this announcement trailer for Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation as well as another video detailing Aveline and some of the weapons that she has at her disposal. Enjoy.
