New E3 Trailer for The Testament of Sherlock Holmes is Quite ElementaryThe new game based around the work of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle – The Testament of Sherlock Holmes – has also received a brand new E3 trailer today. Frogwares have joined the ever-growing list of developers to show off their new E3 video before the show begins, and this one gives us another look at a very shady Victorian London.

The story follows Dr Watson as Sherlock Holmes seems to be acting more and more suspiciously. Players will investigate strange cases alongside Holmes, whilst also trying to uncover the mystery surrounding his bizarre and frightening behaviour. The team have put together a real, living and breathing London, where gamers will be able to freely roam in their investigations – populated by a huge cast of both helpful and scary faces.

Frogwares think that the “video will give you a larger preview of the game, its dark ambiance, and its strong story centered around a controversial hero with obscure motives. This is a thrilling investigation that players will have to lead, playing as both Holmes and Watson in turns. Multiple bloody murders, a strange illness which started to plague the population of London… these are the cases they will have to investigate upon, all the while trying to discover the reasons behind the strange actions of Sherlock himself.
