Ubisoft-Announce-Splinter-Cell-BlacklistUbisoft took to the stage during Microsoft’s E3 conference to unveil the latest game in the Splinter Cell series, Blacklist.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist focuses around the United States military presence in countries like Iraq. A small group of terrorists have decided to issue an ultimatum to the US, leave their countries or suffer the consequences.

Sam Fisher finds himself as the leader of the newly formed, 4th Echelon. The unit works solely for the US President and must hunt down all threats before the Blacklist countdown reaches zero.

During the conference Ubisoft showed off a demo that featured brand-new mechanics like free-flow killing and the ability to use voice commands via Kinect. A highlight of the demo was when the player whistled out to Kinect, detracting a guard long enough to make the kill.
