Xbox LIVE Newsbeat June 12th-25th: Sonic on Sale

In the run-up to the Xbox LIVE Summer of Arcade promotion, the Xbox LIVE Newsbeat is getting a bit quieter, and the big-name releases have been dying down somewhat – but we still have some big titles and sales making their way onto your consoles this week.

The main attraction this week seems to be a mega Sonic the Hedgehog sale, where several of the biggest Hedgehog games and add-ons are available at a reduced price. Along with that, another headline sale is the Games on Demand sale, where selected full retail titles will be available at a 75% discount.

New Arcade titles are Babel Rising – the tower destruction game – which you can read our review for here, and Magic 2013, an expansion for the Magic: The Gathering Universe. As usual, there is also a selection of Avatar items and new Zune movies for your viewing pleasure.
