It’s a Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 Media Explosion!
Even Dracula celebrates Christmas, as Konami release a whole heap of new screenshots and the VGA trailer.
Over the last weekend, the Spike VGAs gave us a gorgeous trailer for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, a game that I’m sure many of you are eagerly awaiting (I know I certainly am).
The original game is easily the best 3D Castlevania game, and managed to take the series forward while retaining the feel of a classic ‘Vania. Plus, there’s THAT post-credits scene.
Konami have kindly sent over a good quality version of that trailer for you to view – They’re awesome like that:
Amazingly, most of the footage in that trailer is allegedly in-game, on current generation hardware. Amazing.
To accompany the trailer, we’ve also got some new concept art and screenshots for your enjoyment. The game’s release simply can’t come soon enough.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will be released in 2013 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
