Halo 4: Spartan Ops Episode 5 Trailer Now on WaypointHalo 4’s excellent episodic campaign Spartan Ops is now halfway done, as Episode 5 rolls out next week.

The stunning CGI movies that accompany the series follow the (mis)fortunes of Fireteam Majestic, a company of Spartan IV’s from the UNSC Infinity, locked in conflict with the Prometheans. 343 Industries not only make the CGI movies available to watch when each episode is released, but also post them up on Halo Waypoint to watch whenever you feel like it.

The Spartan Ops missions take place several months after the climax of Halo 4 and replace the Firefight mode seen in Halo 3 and Halo: Reach, offering unique solo or co-op missions that earn you Spartan Points towards levelling your multiplayer character. They can only be played while online, and will eventually consist of ten 5-chapter episodes per season.
