Looks Like Someone at Ubisoft Jumped the Gun with Announcement of New Assassin's Creed III DLCOops. It looks like someone at Ubisoft jumped the gun on an AC III DLC announcement. That’s what we’re led to believe as it appears a post briefly appeared on the Assassin’s Creed official website that detailed; The Battle Hardened Pack for Assassin’s Creed III which is reportedly coming, this week. The announcement about new DLC, which we learned about via CVG, was promptly removed from the website, yet an eagle eyed user of the PlayStation forums took note of the add-on’s contents.

The multiplayer focused content will feature;

Three New Characters:

  • The influential Governor
  • The resilient Highlander
  • The fearsome Coyote Man

Three New Maps (for use in standard MP and Wolfpack modes)

  • The lush, tropical environment of Saint Pierre
  • The moody, atmospheric stronghold of Fort St-Mathieu
  • The embattled, enflamed Boston neighborhood of Charlestown

Apparently, it will be coming to Windows PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and will cost £7.99. If you bought the season pass, this supposed extra bit of content will be absolutely free…well, you’ve paid for it already.
