Assassin's-Creed-IV-Black-Flag-ConfirmedUbisoft have confirmed Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.

They made the announcement by releasing the game’s box art, which confirms Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Wii U versions.

It would seem to confirm rumours regarding further information about the game being set in the Caribbean in 1715.

The Examiner have also posted an alleged screenshot from an unnamed source and say the game will tell the story of Edward Kenway, father of Assassin’s Creed III character Haytham Kenway.

The embargo on Assassin’s Creed IV information lifts on Monday March 4th at 5pm, following a press event held yesterday.

Update: We’ve just received the official packshots from Ubisoft for the next title in the Assassin’s Creed series. Have a gander, below. You’ll also notice that the PS3 box art mentions an exclusive, extra 60 minutes of gameplay. This isn’t a first for the series as Assassin’s Creed III also contained some content, exclusive to the PlayStation 3 version.
