Deadfall Adventures Announced with Uncharted Looking Trailer

Deadfall-Adventures-Announced-with-Uncharted-Looking-TrailerNordic Games has announced Deadfall Adventures – the next game from Painkiller: Hell & Damnation developer, The Farm 51.

The game centres around lead character James Lee Quartermain who is escorting a US agent and former colleague called Jennifer Goodwin, to fetch an artifact known as The Heart of Atlantis from an Egyptian temple. It just so happens that a group of Nazis that specialise in the occult – the Ahnenerbe – are also looking to acquire the relic.

The Unreal Engine 3 powered title, I’m sure you’ll agree, sounds a teeny, tiny, tinchy, lickle bit like Uncharted. However, it is an FPS – as you can see from the trailer, below) and is said to include a bit of exploration and puzzles to boot.

Managing Director at Nordic Games Klemens Kreuzer was clear in stating the epic nature of Deadfall Adventures;

“Deadfall Adventures marries the ethos of the Saturday morning matinee with the Summer blockbuster to create an original adventure which will grip players from start to finish. We’re putting players into the heart of the action, just as they’d dreamed as children, staring at their heroes on the silver screen. It’s fantastic to be working on Deadfall Adventures with The Farm 51 from the roots up; it’s going to be an exciting summer.”

It could be one to look out for, who knows. The PC and Xbox 360 community will get to play this in the Summer and unleash their inner Indy, it seems.
