Robert Bowling Enters the Mobile Market with Breach & Clear

The former face of Call of Duty is executive producer on a brand new iOS and Android title called Breach & Clear. Along with Mighty Rabbit Studios, Bowling is keen to change the perception of gaming on smartphones;

“We’re hoping to change the conversation about what denotes a mobile game. With Breach & Clear, we’ve taken the design principles of creating a major console release and transferred that to a title that just so happens to be launching on mobile devices. Our focus is to take a gameplay experience and mechanic that is built from the ground up for mobile or touch control and enhance it with the depth and progression you’d expect from a AAA console release.”

As reported by GameInformer, the game is a strategy title where players assume control of a group of special operations forces and attempt to take down some big, bad terrorists. If Bowling’s claims of transferring AAA quality to your mobile device come to pass, they could be on to a winner.

There’s no confirmed release date as of yet, but the game is scheduled to hit a Spring 2013 release date on the respective iOS and Android stores.
